Super Sauze ski resort, France

This large resort in the Alpes du Sud region of France has 24 lifts (3 chair lifts and 21 surface lifts) and 2,000m of vertical descent.

With 49 pistes that have a total length of 65km, Super Sauze is attractive to intermediate skiers and snowboarders; however, there is terrain for beginners as well as advanced skiers.

This resort offers no cross-country trails, but there is a terrain park for snowboarders. The nearest airport is Nice, and the nearest train station is at Gap. The summit is 2,400m, and there’s a vertical drop of 1,000m. Accommodations are plentiful and affordable; for example, one hotel offers rooms from 40€.
