Szklarska Poreba is a popular Silesian ski resort with a number of natural scenic attractions including the Death Curve and the Kamieńczyk Waterfalls. The Death Curve is a sharp and treacherous road bend where many accidents have occurred and the Kamieńczyk Waterfalls are the highest in the Sudeten region.
The resort has seven ski lifts including chairs and a mixture of advanced, intermediate and beginner pistes totalling seven. There are a large number of interesting cross country skiing trails in the area and ski equipment hire facilities.
Snowboarding is popular in Szklarska Poreba.
