The Balsams Wilderness

The ski area of Balsams Wilderness ski area is situated in Dixville Notch, the area of New Hampshire having 16 ski trials along with 5 glades and 6 lifts. With a long trail of 95 kilometers it is considered one of the best cross country ski resorts situated in North America. Location wise it is about 220 miles from Boston and 380 from New York City.

 

The summit elevation for that is 2760 feet. The winter season at Balsams Wilderness starts from mid December and ends in early part of April month. Balsams is host to on-site alpine skiing with 16 trails to offer.

The second slope of the mountain together with the first one offers a double chair lift, two triple chair lifts and gladed areas five in number.

The trail at Balsams Wilderness also provides ice-skating.
