Tysovets has a base elevation of 900m and is 32 km from Skole which is on the Kiev to Usghorod train route. The Tysovets ski runs are either accessible via an old chair lift or by driving 2 km up the mountain.
A beginner slope is available at the base. Three wide runs are at the top, one is an intermediate level and the others for more advanced skiers. These runs also have tow lifts. Tysovets was an old Soviet training base and has some ski jumps left over from that era and which are no longer active.
