Tussey Mountain Ski Area is a popular but small place for college students to enjoy winter fun. There are 38 skiable acres with a vertical drop of 500 feet. The average annual snowfall is 48 inches but they can make snow for 100 percent of the area. The 5 lifts can move 2,700 people per hour.
There are 9 trails with the longest being 4,100 feet. Beginners will enjoy 3 runs and intermediates can use 4. There are 2 short advanced trails. There is a terrain park and a snow tubing park.
Lodging, dining and après ski partying are available in town. This is truly a partying ski area.
