Here you can find five unspoiled, quiet. cozy villages amid some of Switzerland’s finest scenery. The skiing areas are not large but a lot of skiing can be done, especially higher up the slopes at 2400metres. The areas all have something different to offer, the larger is St Luc/Chandolin, Zinal is smaller and located near the head of the valley; Grimentz is popular for it’s off piste skiing; Vercorin is the smallest village and is good for intermediates; and Sierre isn’t a ski resort, it a village more famed for its vineyards.
Overall the runs add up to 220km, with 44 lifts servicing the fields.
