This ski resort sits in the central part of the Maurienne Region of France, very close to the Italian border.
It is good for expert and beginner skiers, and great for intermediate skiers and snowboarders. There are 9 green runs, 10 blue, 18 red ones, and 6 black runs. Most of the skiing is made up of downhill pistes, about 80 km of it, and then only 6 km of cross country runs.
There are 22 lifts in the area, and most of the pistes are above the 2,500 meter elevation; so they have snow on them throughout most of the skiing season. To get to the area, there are five airports in the region, Geneva is the furthest away, and that is only three hours. The Chambery Airport is closest, only about two hours.
