It is a renowned area located near the town of Ezcaray in the upper Oja Valley of the Iberian. The resort has 22 kilometers of marked ski trails. Valdezcaray is a growing family-based resort, which has greatly improved its infrastructure, accommodation and facilities in the last few years. The highest point is the San Lorenzo peak, situated at an altitude of more than 2125 meters. From that point there is a vertical drop of about 600 meters, where there are located most of the ski trails.
Basic ski services are located at an altitude of about 2530 meters. From there the main chair lift provides access to all the ski facilities. The town is quite cozy, offering tourists a large variety of facilities, from comfortable hotel rooms, to hospitable and friendly restaurants.
