While only 30 years old, this resort is a great place for all types of skiing and snowboarding; it has 5 very good black runs, 11 red, 25 blue runs, and 14 green ones. There are 38 ski lifts giving access to the slopes, and they are made up of 152 km of the downhill pistes and 20 km of cross country runs.
The area boasts 139 pistes, and some of them are above the 2,500 m level, so you can ski and snow throughout almost the entire season and be sure of snow being on the ground. To assure that, the area uses 153 snow cannons to augment any area that is lacking. Six airports are within a two hour driving radius of the region, and the Chambery Airport is the closest.
