Volcano Osorno-Puerto Varas Ski resort, Llanquihue, Chile

Puerto Varas is a town with German traditions located in the province of Llanquihue. The Osorno Volcano  at 2652 metres high with its perfect cone is visible from the shores of Lake Llanquihue and is a prominent ski centre in Chile.

With four ski lifts serving the resort there is a good mix of runs for all abilities. Snowboarders will also find the terrain  enjoyable and there are snow trekking opportunities. Volcán Osorno has a good ski school, restaurants and a first aid centre. Puerto Varas is known for its good hotel infrastructure.
