Whaleback has a small ski area that caters to snowboarding and alpine skiing. The elevation at the base and elevation are 1100 and 1800 feet. Whaleback Mountain consists of 30 trails that can be used by beginners as well as seasoned players.
The trails have a chairlift for two persons, rope tows two in number and magic carpet. About 80 percent of trails are lighted to facilitate skiing and riding in night. Whaleback offers family skiing at affordable rates.
The training sessions are offered by Whaleback Core Team in the field of freestyle skiing, snowboarding and alpine racing. The new things are being offered like tubing, terrain park features and improved snowmaking.
The skiing offered is comparable to that offered by big mountains at a lesser cost. The training of things offered are done by experts in those fields.
